15th September 1940,
Britain stood alone against a vastly superior enemy. Invasion was imminent, the pilots of the Royal Air Force flying Supamarine Spitfires and Hawker Hurricane fighters stopped the enemy air assault.
Today we celebrate 75 years since this act of extreme bravery by these men who saved our freedom and liberty.
