EMAIL/SITE PROBLEMS UPDATE

Hi everyone--

Thanks for being so patient with the troubles we've been having. With Bryan being away it's been a bit difficult to get this sorted out. I have word from our server that they are working to get this sorted out and fingers crossed, I'm hoping that later today/early tomorrow we should be back in shape.

Once the server gets things sorted, we'll be able to see what games (if any) are still impacted by things...and Jeff will be able to get a handle on whatever is still not properly functioning.

Again, massive apologies for all this. It's been a bit of a nightmare for everyone. :crazy:

When they get the server fixed and running again, will it send the winning emails from conversions, bonus wins, etc? One more thing then I promise not to be a pest the rest of the day, if a conversion was done during this period would there still be a notice sent to the casino for crediting, or is that by way of the same email?

I found out the answer to the second question, I just received an email from Slotland crediting my conversion, so they are still going to the casino to be processed. Oh, thank you, thank you, thank you.

So now I conclude with a wish you go well,
Sweet be your dreams and your happiness swell
I'll leave you here for my journey begins
I'm going to be gambling again.

I can't honestly say that the emails will all be sent and received. What I CAN tell you is that I'm manually going through all of the confirmation information and creating spreadsheets for the casinos. Any bonuses won during this period of time WILL be honored.

I also received a bit more information on what caused the trouble and it was two-pronged: First, we were attacked by bots on our 'contact us' page and those bots essentially began spamming via that page. This caused Spamhaus to block any emails from going out. While this was going on, nearly 200,000 emails got plugged up in the system, using any available memory we've had. We've resolved the Spamhaus stuff at this point--now it's just a matter of sifting through things and getting back to business as usual.

:crazy::crazy::crazy:
