recent floods in texas

I thought some of you may find this interesting .The recent rains in Texas
has caused a lot of water to be held in the lakes and slowly released
Some of these videos that show running over the spill way is unbelievable
The amount of water running out is enough to fill an Olympic size swimming pool every 10 seconds
Once you see the video that comes up there will be others at the end of it
I checked these and did not find any virus or adware

UPDATE

UPDATE

A few days after making this post one of the main roads going form Texas to Okla was shut down as water went over the bridge
That has to be a 40 or 50 ft rise on the Red River
It was at the bottom of the I 35 bridge between Gainesville and Okla border.
It has now receded and is close to normal

If only someone can find a way to pipe all of that rain water to California. We are on a four year drought, on water rationing and the rationing will continue to increase. They have been pushing for a pipeline from Canada to the Gulf Coast to pipe oil from place to place, but they can't push for a pipeline from the flooded areas to the West Coast. Where are the priorities.

Dokken,
That is a great idea the problem is they would never get it done
They are laying a huge water line near our house. I am talking big enough to drive inside the pipe
They have been 2 months or longer just getting it under a two lane lightly traveled farm road
They are taking it a 50 more miles cross country and have been two months just getting ready to start digging
I agree it could be done if the right people got on it
The problem is like everything else greed will take over
