I so HATE gifting If anyone on here remember's me getting GG 's from gifting, please remind me! TY! If so, when? Am racking my brain to see if I ever asked for any! Maybe, then I would not be so resentful! Is is desperate times; comes for desperate measures???

Just out of curiosity, what brought this on?

I'm looking for ways to address the issue of Gifting, as when I've discussed this previously with our members, it's seemingly fallen upon deaf ears. I don't want to get rid of Gifting, however if it's going to continue, it may need to be participation-based.

I dunno. I'm open to suggestions from our members, so everyone, please feel free to chime in. :thumbsup:

I notice a lot that ask for points play the cash salad slot I for one do not play this
and when they run it 24/7 its going to eat up their GG's

I used to ask a long time ago like 4 years for GG's when I could gamble for conversions but it was rare that I asked

but when it's the same people that ask over and over ..... and always make a new post when Dee said post behind hers .....

I'm not opposed to "gifting";
...on the other hand, I think sometimes it's abused.

I think it would be nice to have a monthly limit on requests;
....on the other hand, is it possible for Jeff to set it up and how long would it take?

As all GG members before and after me, we all started out with a very small number of gg points and had to take advantage of Crazy Auction Deals to get vouchers and/or win gg points to build up our banks;
...on the other hand, the U.S. has banned most online gambling sites so there aren't as many deals as before.

For those who request gifting, why not actually PARTICIPATE in Sunday Fun Chat, or POST or BLOG in the forum with interesting items. Do some serious sucking up to Greedy and maybe you'll win MOTW for a nice hefty 100,000 gg points. That will keep you in the black for good.
...on the other hand, you could be addicted to Cash Salad or other games that cost a lot of gg points.

For those who request gifting, why not try joining a tournament which are offered every week? It's a great way to win lots of gg points;
...on the other hand, it takes gg points to make gg points.

For those who request gifting, why not hold off on playing Cash Salad for a month or two and only play for the Mega or Minor?
...on the other hand, someone else might win while you're not playing.

If all of the above aren't feasible enough, join the GGPA (Gone Gambling Points Anonymous) and do the 13 steps;
...on the other hand, there is no GGPA.

the thing about joining chat is they sign in wait till about 30 minutes before chat is to end as they know that is when roll call is going to be done to say here im here to get points they do not offer any input thru out chat except for here

so in other words there are example 15 people signed in and maybe 7 actually taking part in chat

Like most I do not want to see it gone and Jimbear pretty well summed it up
I would have no problem gifting some but I have no way of knowing who is really in need or who has just found a way to get GG'S without giving anything in return
I do not play cash salad for the very reason of winning a jackpot and yet have not made any deposits or purchased any vouchers
Maybe there would be a way to make it a win win for everyone
A person gives GG's so a bonus, a conversion or what ever the reason is to a someone
someone make the conversion or whatever and is fortunate enough to win
That person then makes a token deposit to the casino of choice for the giver to play at and a small token back to GG to be auctioned off
I give Greedy 2,500 GG's for her conversion she makes the conversion and wins 250.00 that can be withdrawn .Greedy then takes who knows say 10% of the win and either gifts it to me or places it at a casino of my choice to play
She then gives say 5 or 10 % back to GG for allowing the gifting in the first place
You think about it that 30 to 35% sounds high but 70 to 75 % of anything beats the 70 to 75 % of nothing greedy would have got without my gift

Very True Jas and at one time it was even worse. I do apologize for my having to rest at different times but it a must for me and I stay as much as possible as I love it. Especially when we are having chicken lol. Here I am up at nearly 2:00 am with pain just shooting through me body.

Create a filter that is a turned on when a person is gifted so they can not convert into Casino dollars or play Cash Salad - only because that has the potential for huge casino bonus. Now if they win a casino deposit wile playing games so be it, that is part of what GG is about. But to ask for points to just do a conversion - NO

After the GG gifted points have been played through, maybe 2x's the filter is turned off - this is what the Casinos do with Bonuses, how is Gifted points not a bonus to that person.

I honestly don't get why members are bothered by it. I also don't understand why it bothers you that they would use it for a conversion. This shows the member has deposited in a sponsored casino which is what the casino and GG wants. Yah I have been around the block with both but for the life of me, why it bothers people where you post asking for GGs or even asking for ggs....why judge it and why the bad feelings about it? Besides if the member needs ggs it just means they are participating with a sponsoring casinos. Isn't this what GG is all about? Yeah I get that there is the ratio of ggs to bonuses....but thats all part of it. Cash Salad is just a great game with a sponsored casino. The more that take advantage of it the better it is for the casino and GG. The more participation the happier the sponsors will be.

One more thing. To have Jeff do filters and waste his time on gifting honestly there are so many other problems with the site and the games that I would think there would be so much better use of his time to fix the glitches and problems......As far as being abused, you can only gift one time a week and the limit is 9999 ggs. Back in the day you could only gift once during the gifting period however it was unlimited amount of ggs. ( and of course that was back when you had lots of casinos to deposit to and choose) I get that!

This is my view as asked by Greedy... and I am sticking to it!
